There's a variety of Sets available at Dawnport that are gifted to players to either test the Vocations or as a final reward before leaving for mainland. It's possible to get better equipment during your stay, some items are even better that the final rewards given.
Starter Set[]
Right after starting, you're given some items, including 3 Gold Pieces and a Rope, but you'll need to exit through at least a vocation gate and get better items before meeting an enemy Creature. |
Weight: 128 oz. Attack: 7 Defense: 7 Armor: 14 |
Training Sets[]
You can exit through the vocation gates as many times as you wish and change vocations as you like, but the items given follow some rules to avoid abuse:
- Armor items are given only once, independant of the gate choosen. All gates give the same armor, so it's not an issue.
- Supply items are given once per gate, so it's possible to get up to 4 Meat, 5 Light Stone Shower Runes, 5 Lightest Missile Runes, 27 Mana Potions and 21 Small Health Potions to use. Be careful with your Capacity if you intend to loot Creatures or complete Quests though.
- The starting weapon and shield items are replaced, even if picked from the ground or looted from an enemy and even if in the Backpack, so throw the ones you want to keep on the ground before exiting (probably only useful for the Wooden Shield and the Dagger). Also, check your Backpack for junk items if you changed vocations.
- 100 Simple Arrows are refundable every 5 minutes for Paladins that pass through the east gate. Be careful as it can easily fill your Capacity.
Also, the items are given only when exiting the gates from the outpost, not when entering, so you can enter from either side when returning.
