Damage Reflection is a passive ability that some creatures have and that players can have through some equipment. It's similar to the Parry Charm.
Damage Reflection by Players[]
Characters can receive the ability to reflect damage through some equipment listed below. Damage reflection in this case has some special rules:
- The reflected damage cannot be greater than 1% of the maximum hit points of the attacker.
- For example, if the combined damage reflection of all worn equipment is 80, it will still only reflect a maximum of 50 damage on creatures with 5000 health points.
- This 1% limit can be exceeded through the use of Damage Boost Prey on a selected creature, so the maximum amount of damage reflection can be higher.
- Damage reflection is only triggered by melee damage.
- It does not affect Bosses.
- It is shown as dark purple text. So 32 damage would show up as 32.

Damage Reflection by Creatures[]

This percentage can be much greater than 100%, meaning a lot more damage than was initially dealt. The Creature's resistances is not affected by this, some creatures reflect the damage of elements they are immune against, while others reflect damage of elements they are neutral to.
When you deal damage to a creature with damage reflection (for example neutral with 10% reflection), the following messages are displayed on the Server Log Channel:
- You lose 115 hitpoints due to an attack by Creature. (damage reflection)
- Creature loses 1150 hitpoints due to your attack.
