Containers are objects created to hold things in them. In Tibia, there are three types of containers: Item Containers, Fluid Containers and "Other" Containers. As their names indicate, an Item Container can only hold Items, and thus have a property called Volume which is the number of items it can hold, while Liquid Containers can only hold one sample of a given Liquid (regardless of how small or big it looks like). The Other Containers are Objects which look like Containers but do not have Volume (such as quest Chests) and/or can't have their Liquid content changed, like big Casks.
Item Containers[]
Item containers have different capacities. Some containers can hold 20 items (Backpack), while other containers may only be able to hold 5 items (Present Box).
Some item containers can be carried in your backpack. Other item containers cannot. If you try to pick up a container that cannot be carried, you will see a message that says "you cannot take this item".

It can be useful for players that struggle with having to carry a lot of empty containers to acommodate the coins picked up from loot, but because of its high cost it can take a long time to pay itself when compared to not picking up the money, specially gold.
It's important to note that the coins in the Gold Pouch are still counted in the character's capacity, so in that regard it only helps that you save the additional weight of other containers. | |

The Gold Pouch is a special container that you can have in Your Store Inbox. It can only hold Gold, Platinum and Crystal coins, but it has infinite slots. It can be useful for players that struggle with having to carry a lot of empty containers to acommodate the coins picked up from loot, but because of its high cost it can take a long time to pay itself when compared to not picking up the money, specially gold.
It's important to note that the coins in the Gold Pouch are still counted in the character's capacity, so in that regard it only helps that you save the additional weight of other containers. | |
