A botter is a player who uses unoffical software to gain advantage over others. Most botters use software to gain experience points while offline, so that they can also reach higher levels when they aren't even playing themselves, but there are also bots that create runes or fish for you.
The account of a banished botter is deleted or punished with a 30-day banishment and a final warning. CipSoft's tool for Automatic Bot Detecion deletes about 2,000 botter accounts every month.
