Blessings can be obtained by a player to reduce how much experience, skills and items you will lose in a death.

There are 5 different blessings:

After death a character will lose all blessings. With a Ceremonial Ankh you can check which blessings you already obtained.

A character under level 24 loses 10%, a character above 24 loses levels hen he dies. After that calculated how much Experience that is of his total level. This number is the base reduction, this is how many % of your skills you will lose, and from this number is also calculated the reduction from blessings and promotion. Getting Promotion to your character will decrease the loss with 30% extra (Example: you lose 4.5% of your total Experience (level 100) without promotion, with promotion you would lose 3.15%(). Each blessing decreases the loss by another 8% ( for each blessing). The Wisdom of Solitude requires a premium account, but the other blessings can be bought by free account players.

Note : If you complete The Inquisition Quest you are able to buy Blessing of the Inquisition, in Thais which will buy all the blessings in one shot. This blessing costs 10% more than buying them one by one.

The safest and fastest way to buy all blessings when you don't have the possibility to buy the blessing of the inquisition is as follows: first go Thais to white flower temple, and buy spiritual shielding, then take the boat to Carlin, and buy embrace of tibia, from there either take boat or walk to Ab'dendriel for the fire of the suns, take the boat from Ab'dendriel to Edron and from Edron to Cormaya, from Cormaya to Eremo and buy the wisdom of solitude, after that take the steamboat to Kazordoon and buy the spark of the phoenix.

Note 2: You can not buy blessings on PvP-Enforced Game Worlds

Price

Every blessing costs 2.000 Gp for characters below level 30. After level 30 the blessings will cost 2.000 Gp and an extra 200 Gp for each level you have().
After level 120 the blessings will cost totally 100.000 Gp, 20.000 Gp each.
You can only obtain a blessing if you don't have it already.
You can check your current blessings by using a Ceremonial Ankh. All blessings will be lost if you die.

<spoiler>If you have a phoenix egg in your inventory, and you chose the Phoenix Egg when you finished The Paradox Tower Quest, you will get a 10% discount on The Spark of the Phoenix. The egg can be used an unlimited number of times. </spoiler>
