Strategy
Shoot from distance using Icicle Runes to kill it fast. For profit hunting Ice Strike is advised or luring a couple and using Avalanche Runes.
History
Blazing Fire Elementals could briefly be summoned for 700 Mana shortly after their introduction, making them the most mana-expensive creature to summon. This was unintended, and the issue was corrected in the morning patch on July 9, 2008 (the second of two patches that day).
