When the Deraisim, a nomadic group of elves, homeless since the wars, reunited with the Cenath, the Magic users and tree dwellers, they were convinced to give up their nomadic lifestyles and settled into Ab'Dendriel. However, some families of elves preferred not to settle down. These elves are known as the Abdaisim. It is strange however, that the nomadic elves took a new name, as it is normally those who break off the original tribe who adopt a new name.
As mentioned on one of the Puldrak's books about the Deraisim and origin of the Abdaisim, during the nomadic way of live of the elves before the unification with the Cenath, they made a lot of trading posts that were used as a temporary or permanent base (Ab'dendriel itself for example). The smaller trading post could be inhabited by one and up to three elven families (see the same book). This may lead to believe that very small Elf spawns like the little island to the north and the camp to the west of Mount Sternum or the small camp near the Knightwatch Tower are actually Abdaisim settlements with only 2-4 elves residing there.
Abdaisim in Tibian Literature[]
Only two books mention the Abdaisim.

What People have to say about the Abdaisim caste[]
Many of the elves that populate Ab'Dendriel refer to them as wanderers and that they are lost. However they do not mean literally lost, but that the Abdaisim have lost their way.
