Leaving from Port Hope, follow the river on the south side until you reach the poacher's camp (here). The quest box is on the surface.
A faster route is from Ankrahmun. Head south-west of the city until you find the bridge that connects to the Hydra spawns. Go south-west from the ladder, pictured just north-east of the Hydra, but be careful!
When travelling, stay close to the river to avoid the Carniphilias and most of the Spit Nettles.
The Hydra spawn is north of the camp (here), so be careful when approaching, since there may be a lured Hydra waiting for you.
