(This bow is almost the same as the arbalest, but it has 1 more attack. Combined with Onyx Arrows it has 1 less attack than the arbalest with power bolts.) Contrary to popular belief, a Composite Hornbow combined with onyx arrows actually hits higher on average than an Arbalest with power bolts. The average damage inflicted by a level 100 paladin with 100 distance using a Composite Hornbow and onyx arrows is 193, whereas the average damage inflicted by the same paladin using an Arbalest and power bolts is 192.
